I bought a ZeroImage 2000 a few days before the Lomo people started selling them (with their usual 150% markup).
I've been having a blast with it.
If you get one (which you should) get it from Zero Image directly, and spring for the cable release.
Posted by: Slush at December 14, 2003 11:57 PMLomo is selling Zero Image cameras? I didn't know that. I'm looking at the 2000 and the 6x9 right now. I like that you can change the format with the 6x9, which may be enough to get me to shell out the extra bucks. I'll definetly be getting a cable release.
Posted by: Drew at December 15, 2003 10:33 AMI'm happy with the 2000. The 69 has a longer focal length (to create the 9cm image circle) which means it isn't as wide angle (I like the ultra wide angle) and it's effectively f/238, which means exposure times might get long.
Posted by: Slush at December 15, 2003 12:23 PMHm, thanks for the feedback. It's nice to know someone who has actually used the camera I'm thinking about buying. I'll have to check out some of your pinhole photos sometime.
