Static Screams and Cell Divisions

In order change things up for the new year, Im planning on occasionally posting some mp3s of music that I have been enjoying recently. Depending on how things go bandwidth wise and whether people have any interest in what I am posting, I may continue to occasionally post some songs.

In any case, the first band Id like to call to your attention is the A-Frames. Eric from Something I Learned Today posted three songs by them a few months ago, and after listening to them, I hopped on-line and ordered the A-Frames second album. Thudding bass lines, deadpan singing, sharp guitars, lyrics about alien worlds and future worldsI was sold on the first listen.

The songs:

  • Futureworld (originally posted by Eric, but Ill repost it since he's removed it from his site.)
  • Search and Rescue

The A-Frames wont be for everyone, but give it a try and let me know what you think. Get the songs while they are up, Ill be taking them down soon.

UPDATE: The site was getting a little slow to load. I'm not sure if it was the songs or not, but I've taken them down just in case. Thanks for listening, I'll try this again later.
