On Sausages, Ian Curtis And The President

Eastern Market

On Sausages: Earlier today, I noticed that the convenience store in my building at work sells tins of Vienna sausages. Now, I used to love them as a kid, but I don't think I've eaten one in over 20 years, which is probably for the best. Still, part of me kind of wonders a bit about them, which has me thinking about buying a tin of the sure to be disgusting wienies.

Something Must Break: Last night, I had an exceptionally clear dream about attending a speech given by the President on a bridge over Rock Creek Park (I think it was the Duke Ellington Bridge) with a bunch of people that I know from DCist (not sure why they featured in the dream, but there they were). For some reason, they were playing Joy Division as the music at the President's rally, which seemed exceptionally strange, even within boundaries of the dream. "Why are the Republicans playing Joy Division at a rally?"
