One morbid way to spend the evening: Querying the Iraq Coalition Casualty Count database to see if a long-lost friend from college turns up. I hope you made it out of the active duty ranks before all this started, Chris.

I have thought about him a lot too -- I wonder where he is? I hope he is okay.

Yeah, I really hope he is well. I'm not sure how I would even go about getting in contact with him again. Maybe if he is registered with the alumni folks at CMU? That's pretty much the only thing I can think of right now.
