DGH 9
So, today, I made a decision: Japan! Next spring for about 3 weeks, or however long it turns out I can afford to stay and take off from work. I already have a pretty good idea of my itinerary (lots of baseball, visiting Yakushima, Hokkaido), but I'll be taking suggestions, if any of y'all know of something that I absolutely must do while I'm in Nippon.

Everyone will say climb Mt Fuji, but that's a real hike. Settle for the bath house.
Hiroshima national park- very humbling
Kyoto- gold pavilion at old capital
Hokaido is pretty cool, but best if you can catch the Sapporo winter festival, amazing ice sculptures, I still have my photos from 20 years ago.
