Suddenly Folk Songs Are Part Of Our Future

The past two days have been about one thing: how many times I can listen to the newly arrived Future of the Left CD. If you were yearning for something more from the late McLusky (animated kitty video there, uh what?), then hie yerself to your favorite on-line purveyor of music. A few songs hit the poppier sound that McLusky hit right at their end with She Can Only Bring You Happiness* but for the most part it is the same noisy, spastic rock you'd expect.

Some more live tracks from the album are cropping up: adeadenemyalwayssmellsgood, The Lord Hates A Coward and Small Bones Small Bodies. Grow into your body happily!

*"Note to invading aliens/avoid this town/like this town avoided us" Always loved that part to death.

I'm hoping to go in May, but I haven't made any solid plans yet. I need to get off of my butt and do something about that.
