Tomorrow, pitchers and catchers report in the Grapefruit League. For the first time in many years, I'm actually excited about the Orioles. I know they probably will have trouble in the AL East, but with the addition of Tejada and Lopez, and the reintroduction of Palmeiro and Ponson, I at least have some hope for this year. It's been such a long time.

At the cabin, in order to get water for cooking and drinking, we draw water from the creek using this bucket. There is a pump system that we used to use to get water from the creek into the cabin, but it's a pain, so no one bothers to hook it up anymore.

Yes, those are my feet.
About every other summer, I spend a week or two at my family's cabin in the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming. When I'm in Wyoming, one of my favorite things is to set up a hammock behind the cabin. Usually, I'll make it through a bunch of books while I'm relaxing in the hammock, but I'll also spend a good amount of time napping.
I stitched this image together using a friend's copy of Canon's PhotoStitch. The image was stitched together from 4 seperate photos. Starting with the photo of my feet, I panned upwards until the final photo is looking straight up into the trees.

A band Lee drummed for prior to moving to San Francisco.
I can't recall the name of the band. I remember that Lee sang on one song, which was a cover of The Modern Lover's Roadrunner.
I'm thinking of moving on to another theme, and leaving the rest of the New York photos alone for now, and I may do so tomorrow. But, I have to get over to Capitol Hill for a birthday outing to a bar, so the scanning will have to wait.

At over 1000 pixels, the full panorama is a bit wide, so I only posted this reduced version on the main page. You can still take a look at a larger version though.

Lee and Tabitha, waiting for the train.
At least I think her name was Tabitha. I think shortly after I took this picture, Lee threatened to hit me if I "didn't put the fucking camera away." Anyway, I've been thinking about New York a good deal lately, since I am hoping to fit in a trip up there for a weekend sometime in the near future. Seems like a good enough reason for posting some more pictures of New York.
