How's That Ghost Limb

Power: The Jesus Lizard playing Nub live in 1994. Stay tuned for the little surprise at the end. Stage intruders beware! Hat tip to Jeff.

Also, in the midst of work and wedding insanity, I completely forgot about the Stiff Little Fingers concert on November 15th. Anyone want to go?

Can't Stop The Screaming

I'm always amused whenever the Wilhelm Scream crops up in a movie, so I was pleased to see that someone has gone to the trouble of editing together a slew of the screams from various movies into one clip.

What Year Is It?

"Gus Frerotte will start." - Phrase you don't expect to see on the sports ticker while watching Champions League in the afternoon. Actually, a phrase you don't expect to see anywhere outside of the mid90s.

Round and Round

Hysterical: The new QB for the Terps is the son of the original drummer from Ratt. Really.

Makes You Wanna Feel, Makes You Wanna Try: When I played Head On on the jukebox at The Argonaut on Saturday night, I wasn't expecting the pretty impressive dance party/sing-a-long that would kick up courtesy of 5 women who seemed really, really excited to hear that song.

Afterwards, when I was chatting with a friend about the J&MC fans at the Argonaut, I ran across a bunch of live clips from the show in New York on 5/21. I remember the show as being pretty good, but these clips really help remind me how amazing the show was! Check 'em out: Reverence, Far Gone and Out, Head On, Happy When It Rains, Some Candy Talking, Just Like Honey and a bunch more! Not the greatest video, but the audio quality is great.
