A few Melvins songs have been featuring prominently in my running mixes recently. All of them are from the period in the mid-90s, which are triggering some nostalgic moments. I may have to go grab a couple of full albums off of Amazon one of these days and go for a full-fledged flashback via Houdini or Stag.

Too Much Apple Pie!
David Gedge, playing at the Black Cat last Friday! I was pretty excited to see The Wedding Present for the first time, even if I would rather have seen them play a variety of songs from over Gedge's career rather than Bizarro plus some other songs. But hey, at least they played Everyone Thinks He Looks Daft! And of course, someone has posted some video clips of the show so go watch 'em: Kennedy and Brassneck.
